Christa Ross is an Executive Director with the Ministry of the Economy’s Labour Market Development Division and leads a team responsible for labour market planning, policy development and information, and intergovernmental relations.
Christa has worked in the field of labour market development for the past 10 years, with experience both provincially and nationally in program delivery and design. As a research associate at The Conference Board of Canada, Christa examined labour market issues and solutions from around the world. Working with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada as a policy analyst, Christa was involved in the re-design of federal business immigration programs. Prior to that and most recently, she has worked in various front-line and leadership roles with the Government of Saskatchewan.
