Sheree currently works in the emergency services and public safety field and started her career when only 4 precent of her workplace was female. During her 23 year career she has undertaken diverse roles. She is a trained Critical Incident Commander and has managed emergency team responses to critical incidents. A significant part of Sheree’s career has also involved covert investigations where she was responsible for convincingly taking on the roles and behaviours of marginalized people who are often the victims of discrimination. These unique experiences have afforded Sheree opportunities to experience first hand the impact of discrimination and develop a deeper appreciation and understanding of unconscious bias. Sheree draws upon these personal experiences to create a unique and engaging learning environment. There are few who can offer such thought-provoking personal stories and draw upon such distinctive experiences.
Sheree completed her MAdmin from the Kenneth Levene Graduate School of Business – University of Regina. She is a frequent guest lecturer at the University of Regina, delivering dynamic presentations on diversity and unconscious bias.
